Created in 1935 with the mission of generating tourism for South Florida, the Orange Bowl continues to leave lasting imprints in South Florida.
Thousands benefit annually from the millions of dollars the Orange Bowl has invested in support of youth sports. Entering its 20th season, the Orange Bowl Youth Football Alliance (OBYFA) has more than 13,000 youth participants, playing in eight leagues across South Florida, from north of Lake Okeechobee to Key West.
FUNDRAISING EVENTS & COMMUNITY PROGRAMS
Orange Bowl supports a number of organizations and events, including the Orange Bowl Food & Wine Celebration that benefit numerous charities, funds and groups.
ACADEMIC PROGRAMS & SCHOLARSHIPS
The Orange Bowl has provided nearly $1.5 million in scholarships to deserving students in recent years. Orange Bowl also provides support and academic programs including its Orange Bowl Leadership Academy, designed to assist middle school students maximize their potential through access and exposure to career development, personal leadership and life skills.
Combined, Orange Bowl Legacy Gift projects have provided nearly $16 million worth of improvements toward the beautification of the South Florida community and recreational park activities for residents and their families.
