Free Legal Workshop: Start Your Estate Plan – Receive Your Complimentary Healthcare Surrogate Document
Planning for the future is one of the most important steps you can take to protect yourself and your loved ones. Join us for a free educational estate planning workshop!
Attendees will receive a complimentary Healthcare Surrogate document as part of a community initiative from The Cabanas Connection, in partnership with The Estate Planning Lawyers | Cabanas Law Firm, to help individuals take the first step in their estate planning journey.
During this informative session, Sergio Cabanas, Esq., with Estate Planning Lawyers | Cabanas Law Firm, will explain the key components of a comprehensive estate plan and why these documents are essential for protecting your wishes and your family.
A complete estate plan typically includes five important documents:
• Financial Power of Attorney
• HIPAA Authorization
• Living Will
• Advance Directive
• Healthcare Surrogate
At this event, participants will receive assistance preparing a Healthcare Surrogate document at no cost. This document allows you to designate a trusted person to make medical decisions on your behalf if you are ever unable to do so yourself. Because every person’s financial situation, assets, and planning goals are unique, a full Power of Attorney or complete estate plan cannot be finalized during the workshop. However, attendees who wish to explore a full estate planning package will have the opportunity to schedule a private consultation with the attorney at a later date to review their individual circumstances and planning goals.
As a special courtesy, participants will receive exclusive access to a consultation discount available only on the day of the event, which can be applied toward the cost of a complete Power of Attorney package or comprehensive estate plan if they choose to move forward.
Light breakfast bites will be provided.
Whether you are starting your estate plan for the first time or simply want to better understand your options, this workshop offers a welcoming environment to learn, ask questions, and take an important first step toward securing your future. Individuals ages 18 and older are welcome to participate.
