Speaker: Laurie Silvers is the co-founder of the SyFy Channel and served as its CEO from 1988 to 1992. She is currently the owner of: Home Town Cable Plus, a telecommunications system; Treasure and Space Coast Broadcasting, which operates radio stations in Florida; co-founder and president of Hollywood Media Corp.; and co-CEO of Hollywood.com, a major internet provider of entertainment news.
